One commonly used preparation method is sand blasting, which helps remove rust, mill scale and surface contaminants before coating is applied. Creating a properly prepared surface also helps improve coating adhesion.
After surface preparation, a protective coating such as PU (Polyurethane) paint can be applied to provide additional resistance against corrosion, weather exposure and environmental conditions while improving the overall finish of the steel.
